Why "mother daughter" workshops?

We have three workshops in our mother daughter series - and the question came up - why do we call them "Mother Daughter Workshops"  if they are open to all women 13 and older?

We do indeed usually have about half of our attendees come to our mother daughter series alone.  And that is just fine with us - here's why - our three workshops are very different from each other, but the life skills we use in them apply to all relationships.

For example - "Beauty in Three Parts" is a workshop on self esteem.  We work with owning all that is powerful and beautiful about you.  Absolutely you can do this work on your own - or with your mother or daughter.

"Claiming Personal Excellence" is a workshop about life purpose.  We work are creating clarity for your personal vision of your life - and what you are up to creating.  This work too - you can do on your own.

"This Precious Relationship" is a workshop about communication skills.  We work with some very practical skills to improve your communication with your mother or daughter.  Do they have to be in the room?  No.  You can do this workshop on your own - and in fact all of the communication skills we teach apply to ALL of your relationships - be it your significant other, people at work, your sons, your friends, your extended family members - whoever.

So why do we talk about them as "mother daughter" workshops?  Here is why - we are up to empowering women.  And we love the idea of your taking on this work WITH your mother or daughter, your niece, your grandma, your best girlfriend.  Because then when you leave the training, the two of you have created your very own support system in the skills - your very own personal backup to remember what you've learned. Plus we love the idea of women empowering women, so doing this work with someone you love only reinforces the benefits for you both - and what a bonding opportunity!

So bring your mother or daughter to one of our workshops.  Or come alone!  You'll learn, laugh and grow.
